I love taking baths and showers. But I have to admit, I’m not a shower gel type of girl. Give me towel and a nice bar of soap is the only way I can feel so fresh and so clean. But with the limited selection of soaps at my beloved Wal-Mart, I had to find ways to get clean in a variety of smells.
First, I looked into making my own soaps and bath salts.
But I found the process time consuming and messy
So I started looking for unique soap and bath salts online. Here’s some of my favorite
I LOVE this place. Every time I walk in I’m hit with all the different scents of natural handmade goodness.
Lush sells products for the bath/shower, hair, face and body. For the bath and shower, they have bath bombs, butter crèmes, sugar scrubs, bubble bars, emotibombs and soaps.
My favorite products from Lush are the bath bombs, soaps and emotibombs.
Emotibombs are shower fizzes that’s activated as the water hits it and the steam releases the fragrance.
My favorite scent is the Too..Drunk Emotibomb.

It’s suppose to be for hangovers, but I found it useful morning sickness as well. It’s smells like peppermint and oranges. I’ve heard these are good for cold too.
I also love their Butterball and Waving Not Drowning Bath Bomb.
Lush soaps are not cheap, and some of them melt when not placed in a proper container. BUT they are very nice soaps. I rotate soaps and very rarely use the same bar twice in the same week. of the 18 soaps featured on the site, I’ve tried 8 or 9. My favorite has to the the Banana Moon Soap. It’s made from bananas and yogurt and makes my skin feel very smooth and it smells amazing to me, like fresh bananas. The yogurt smells somehow compliments the banana. The smell lingers after you get out the shower.

Others that I like:

Extra Virgin Olive Oil (great for dry skin)

My bathroom is filled with all different kinds of “smell goods”. I’ll post my favorite Etsy finds in a later post!

Im a shower/bath girl too-LOL! I have to check out this site to see if there are chains or if you can orde online. They sound great!
